In addition to swimming and snorkeling at the adjacent beach, recreation options include 36 holes of championship golf, tennis (surcharge), a fitness center, and an outdoor splash pool with children's wading pool and spa tub. A supervised children's program (surcharge) provides half- and full-day activities.
The Makena resort has Molokini Bar and Grille serving contemporary island fare nightly; Hakone offers sushi and other Japanese fare; Café Kiowai provides breakfast on a garden terrace; and Makena Clubhouse is a casual spot for island lunch or sunset cocktails.
Meeting and special-event space includes a ballroom for 520 guests and six outdoor locations, most with ocean and garden views. Wireless Internet access is available in public areas and guestrooms.
Maui Prince Hotel Makena Resort offers a complimentary resort shuttle service to select destinations, including Wailea shops. Valet and self parking are complimentary.
